2014/ 2015 POST UTME SCREENING EXERCISE

Applications are hereby requested from all interested candidates who wrote the 2014/2015 UTME and picked Federal Polytechnic, Ilaro as any of their choices of institution for screening exercise.

1. ELEGIBILITY

                                            i.                              Candidates who choose Federal Polytechnic, Ilaro as their 1^st, 2^nd, 3^rd or 4^th choice and whose score is not below 150 in 2014 UTME.

                                          ii.                              Each applicant will be expected to pay a screening fee of One Thousand Naira Only (N1, 000: 00).

                                        iii.                              Each applicant will also be expected to pay the sum of One Thousand Seven Hundred Naira Only (N1, 700:00) for result checking and verification of admission status.

                                        iv.                              Applicants are expected to complete their POST-UTME form online.

2. METHOD OF APPLICATION

Candidates seeking admission to Federal Polytechnic, Ilaro are required to complete institution’s application form available on-line at www.federalpolyilaro.edu.ng with effect from Tuesday, 15^th July, 2014 to Sunday, 3^rd August, 2014.

3. PROCEDURE FOR OBTAINING ON-LINE FORM

Candidates are expected to obtain POST UTME confirmation slip (confirmation pin printed on it) from any branch of the under listed banks across the nation upon the payment of the sum of Two Thousand Seven Hundred Naira Only (N2, 700: 00).

The authorized banks are:

                                            i.                              Wema Bank Plc

                                          ii.                              Skye Bank Plc

                                        iii.                              UBA Bank Plc

                                        iv.                              Union Bank Plc

                                          v.                              Access Bank Plc

Candidates should note that bank charges will be paid at the point purchase.

4. INSTRUCTIONS TO ALL CANDIDATES

                                i.                              Log on to www.federalpolyilaro.edu.ng ;

                              ii.                              Click on the College Portal or move your mouse over to College Portal a drop list will appear;

                            iii.                              Click on POST UTME;

                            iv.                              Log in with the PIN number printed on the confirmation slip from the bank (PaymentConfirmation);

                              v.                              Complete the application form on-line appropriately, upload your passport photograph, supply your own valid phone number and E-mail address;

                            vi.                              Proceed by confirming the details of your application;

                          vii.                              Click on “SUBMIT” to print your Acknowledgement and Examination Slips;

5. CLOSING DATE FOR SUBMISSION OF FORMS ON-LINE

The closing date for the submission of the on-line application form on the Polytechnic’s website is Sunday, 3^rd August, 2014.

6. REQUIREMENTS FOR THE SCREENING EXERCISE

All candidates are required to bring the following to the screening centre:

                                i.                              UTME notification of result slip;

                              ii.                              Originals and photocopy of the print-out of POST-UTME online application and;

                            iii.                              Evidence of payment of Screening Fee.

7. MODE OF SCREENING

Candidates are required to:

                                i.                              To come along with their writing materials ( biro, HB pencil, ruler, eraser, etc.)

                              ii.                              To write an examination made of questions in English Language, Mathematics and UTME relevant subjects as stipulated in the UTME brochure for different courses.

8. VENUE AND TIME OF SCREENING EXERSICE

                                i.                              Venue: West Campus, Federal Polytechnic, Ilaro

                              ii.                              Dates:    

a)      Monday, 4^th August, 2014- All candidates in the School of Applied Science.

b)      Tuesday, 5^th August, 2014- All candidates in the Schools of Environmental Studies and Engineering.

c)      Wednesday, 6^th August, 2014- All candidates in the School of Management Studies.

                            iii.                              Time: 10: 00 a.m. prompt.

9. RESULTS OF THE SCREENING EXERCISE

Results of the screening exercise will be uploaded on the Polytechnic’s Portal shortly after the examinations. Candidates are expected to log in with his/ her application number to check results.
